Sky Hsu

Mr. Hsu has served as VP of R&D at Silicon Motion since April 2026, where he leads the research and development teams for Edge SSD and Enterprise SSD controllers. He joined Feiya Technology, the predecessor of Silicon Motion, in May 2000, and has led various R&D teams since April 2012. During his tenure, he has overseen the development of controllers for CF cards, xD-Picture Cards, Memory Stick cards, USB card readers, USB flash drives, and PATA/SATA/PCIe SSDs, helping establish Silicon Motion as a leading supplier of SSD controllers in the industry. Mr. Hsu has an MS degree in Electrical and Control Engineering from National Chiao Tung University in Taiwan.
